I am final year PhD student at the Kahlert School of Computing, The University of Utah, working with Prof. Ross Whitaker. My research is focused on developing deep latent variable models (DLVMs), such as the VAE, with provable properties of the distribution in the latent space that find application in outlier detection and disentanglement analysis.

I am passionate about advancing the state-of-the-art in generative AI and applying deep neural networks to real-world problems in diverse domains with a limited training budget. I have a strong background in probabilistic machine learning that accommodates the randomness experienced in real-world challenges.
